Being outdoors reduces the risk of catching most any virus. When this COVID mess first started, there were a number of members of our Softball League that either didn't want to play or at least delay the start of the season until July. I explained that fact to the group. They thought it was going away in the summer because a non Doctor had said that in a news conference. I told them as long as we didn't have a vaccine or had a large group of people not vaccinated it wasn't going away and that thought process meant we would not be playing for years. Ultimately, we started the season in May as normal.
