MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. - In my view, I believe that Biden is out gunned in this scenario... He has neither the knowledge or understanding of the total situation...as was evidenced in the Afghanistan fiasco, where everything he should have done was not done and everything he should not have done was done... He and his administration are responsible and so far it is not good for the United States... And overlooked is the fact that Russia and China have formed a partnership of sorts, and china could possibly step in to assist Russia, then we have a three power Sh**storm!!! Heck, China could attack Taiwan at the same time, then we are in the middle of you know what!!! Just saying...

Bingo! I do think that Russia is attempting to get Joe to take his eye off the ball on Taiwan.

I spent 3 years sitting in West Germany, when we were outnumbered like 13-1 according to the day room poster, and they stayed on their side. I personally think NATO needs to hold an exercise on the Western side of Ukraine, and tell the Russians when you pull back, we pull back. Whats going on now is Afghan all over again. If you listen to H.R. McMaster's Battleground series on the Hoover Institutes YouTube channel, listen to the one he did this week with a former Afghan government official about what happened the 6 months leading up to our pulling out. Agreements like we won't launch air attacks past this line, so they loaded up right up to that line knowing we would do nothing. It makes the whole thing that happened look totally different, and no wonder the Afghan Army did what they did.
