Perseverance captured new video of Mars helicopter in flight

Good Monday morning my Brothers and Sisters... As I opened up my computer this morning and scanned the YouTube science postings, I found an excellent one made by iGadget Pro of a NASA video capture that had not been shown before, at least from my knowledge...

Anyway..........

When NASA's Remote Controlled Helicopter, Ingenuity, made its 13th flight (September 4, 2021), there was no image or video capture of the flight... This video changes that as "Percy", aka; Perseverance had captured Ingenuity from lift off then to the right and off screen and back to finally landing a few feet away from its take off...

By itself is not super spectacular, but taken in total context including the millions of miles the digital order transmission back and forth takes, it is highly remarkable!!! Ingenuity has paved the way for future missions with a much larger helicopter and more precise and in depth scale of exploration... Remember, what we learn on Mars, can be used elsewhere in our solar system as time goes on...

I strongly recommend that this be watched Full Screen to maximize what can be seen...
