He has succeeded in the first, mainly because nobody is Trump. He has utterly failed in the second. That’s because Biden rejected the central premise of his own candidacy, calling for more social spending than any president in history, abandoning Afghanistan to the Taliban for no apparent geostrategic reason, embracing the radical language of anti-racist activists, cramming down the restrictive COVID-19 policies via the administrative state and characterizing his opponents as bigots and Jan. 6-adjacent domestic terrorists. Biden Mini-Me’s like Terry McAuliffe in Virginia have imitated the strategy.

Yes, they keep blaming Trump for their own failure and everything else even though they are in the driver's seat and NOT Him. About the only thing they do well is point the fingers at everyone else4 ven though the failure it their own !

I might have voted for him in 2016 if he had run. Never cared much for how President Trump conducts himself. But on most policy things except the tariff wars, he was OK. I don't know if President Biden is really this far left, or if he is a puppet for other forces actually running the show, but wow, never expected him to be like this.
