Good for the family. It won't bring back their son/brother, but maybe this will encourage the city and other police departments to screen their officers a little closer. To kill someone because they accidentally knock you down is so much of an overreaction it boggles the mind.

they really need to do a full mental health exam / test BEFORE they can become police officers
