PO2 (Join to see) - Maybe it will make people start reporting their earnings....We have to do something to make people pay their taxes so we can finally balance the budget... I'm not for this, but I'm not for so many people skipping out on their taxes either.... if everyone pays, the individual burden will be less.

PO2 (Join to see) Years ago, the IRS started cracking down on Casinos issuing 1099s to winners. IRS demanded a 1099 be issued for amounts less that the statutory $10,000 or else. There is a huge underground economy that deals in cash and avoids taxes. A carpet cleaner recently gave me a quote, the price was only good if I paid in Cash!
