Being a Democrat used to make sense...not anymore.

But the party has undergone a profound evolution over the past few decades. It has been transformed by the radicals in the party and no longer stands for the principles it once claimed to represent. In fact, today’s Democrat Party represents none of the things America has always stood for.

My grandmother was a saint and a die-hard democrat. At 90-years old though, she changed parties and became a Republican. She kept saying that the party had changed and was not America. She survived the Great Depression, wars, racism, etc. A descendant of the McCoy's in the Hatfield/McCoy fame, she raised 7-kids as an RN and died at 93 with a fully sound mind. Socialism, welfare state, woke and weird or whatever we are becoming, I'm glad she isn't here for this. She was too good for this kind of nonsense. I look forward to seeing her again next to God.

Problem is that it makes even less sense to be a Republican today. Substitute Republican in the above comment and its spot on.
