Seems a bit high.

Only 706 survived. Over 1500 did not. Neither have any bearing currently, but are interesting. That's still batting approx. .320. I consider that close to the political split. 1/3 at each extreme right or left, blocking anything of benefit to the remaining 1/3, that are just screwed and watching. I thought the sweet spot was in the middle of the curve, but centrists are just the worker bees. We need social political reforms in a major way. The current model is a lose/lose, with hopes for a brighter future with the next election. It has ceased to work for now. Even kicking the budget default can down the road a few months is considered a victory, but who wins?
