From the article.... But she said the order to remove the flag was part of “an agenda rather than really wanting to gain any understanding of me, who I am, or my story.”
I support the police, my son-in-law was one until he was medically retired from injuries sustained in the line of duty. I don't care about gaining an understanding of any teacher, who they are, or their story. It is about letting kids be kids. Political messaging and political controversy should not have a place in ANY public school. And for those who think so... are you willing to let me indoctrinate your kids into my politics?

I don't disagree with you. And if the school had a policy against *all* political messaging, I would tell the teacher to shut up, quit whining, and teach.
But when BLM and Pride flags *are* allowed, and a Thin Blue Line flag is *not* allowed, that is an agenda, not a policy against political messaging. It is no longer about "distractions" or "making classrooms comfortable." It *is* about indoctrination - but ONLY of the approved agenda.

SFC Casey O'Mally - Spot on! My comments extend to those teachers and staff that displaying undeniably political "icons," controversial or not. Get that stuff out of our kids classrooms, school houses and playgrounds.
