I'm ALL-IN. The Crusades were a RESPONSE to the raping and pillaging and murdering of Jerusalem and Southern Europe by the Sharia hoards. Allow me to give some background information. For many decades the Christian government has drilled for oil near the Niger Delta which is occupied predominantly by Muslims. The oil has polluted the sea and the land. The locals could not fish or farm, and they faced poverty over the decades. The government refused revenue sharing. These were the conditions that shaped the genesis for insurgency.

It comes down down to ideology. If there was no ideology to seek freedom and equality at the incipient stages of the insurgency, perhaps the violence could have been prevented.
