SGT (Join to see) 3 cheers for history. I realize this song is an ode to the Confederacy and the powerful grief the followers felt when it fell. I love this song because of the passion in the words. I love the music of Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Nina Simone and others because of the passion in the words that described the struggles of the period.

I love music of all kinds not a big Country or Rap guy though. But for the same reason its the passion of the song I love this song for the same reason. Marvin Gaye has many I like because you just know he was signing from the heart. He died way to soon. Like so many of the time.
