I'm paying strict attention to the title of this very useful piece, but do you think anyone would mind if I shared these with my wife, too?

Better share with your wife. 9 items. Well known real men can only remember three.

We have a swimming pool and I teach my grand kids “ reach throw and go”. We have a long pole they practice with, a life ring they practice throwing with a rope attached, but go is go and get help. Getting in the water with a person drowning is dangerous, even for a well trained life guard. The red flotation device life guards carry is to give to a drowning person something to hang onto so the life guard can keep a distance. Even using a towel or a piece of clothing so the victim can grab on and get pulled ashore. Other wise excellent article.
