It won't happen because the slave trading Democrats are trying to appease the left and now oh, thanks to President Biden and his failure in Afghanistan, now they are really going to be scared because they're green New Deal, their desire to tax the hell out of businesses and all of their stupid leftist ideas are going to fall apart with their low ratings. There's a government shutdown in 28 days. The continuing resolution is about to expire.

I don't get this threat of shutdown nearly every year. Seems to be the standard dance now. Why isn't Congress shut down 6 months a year anyways? What was the original mandate for Congress to meet each year?
