Now Afghanistan is a safe haven for terrorists. So glad there are no more mean tweets.

When did the Taliban become an organization to negotiate with? They and Al Queda were an enemy for over 20 years. In my mind, the Taliban IS a terrorist organization. Essentially what the US has done is unconditionally surrendered to a terrorist organization.

I concur, but ask Trump, he made the deal that was really a whole lot of nothing. Read it once. It's shocking.

They were once a group we supported with both money and weapons. Also their focus is running Afghanistan, not international terrorism....but they are deffinately friends with Al-Queda....who we also used to fund.

Let's just leave a few thousand AMERICANS alone and to their own devices. I'm sure it'll turn out well.

When this started 20 years ago, I saw a big mistake. We still haven’t learned a lesson. It had to end, ugly as it was. Our politicians started this mess.

SPC Joseph Kopac - Reagan to be precise for starting it. Bush bungled the whole start and set the stage. Trump did the peace treaty without the Afghan Gov. attending and basically said were out of here and the Taliban can do what they want.
