Shit show now, shit show later. Given what happened with the Kurds, I'm not optimistic Trump would have been over backwards to save them either.

LTC John Mohor - To be fair Trump entered into an agreement with the Taliban with an exact date (1 May 2021) that he did give out publicly. I'll believe he may not have honored it, but he surely announced such a date.

SPC Kevin Ford - True, Trump and Obama legitimized the Taliban. It has been the fault of many administrations over the years. Just no close air support makes it easy to rout a weak military that relied and wore out the Afghan SF.
