After my wife and I married we took 2 weeks and went to S. Korea & Japan. We spent 2 days in Hiroshima. I was wonderful to see the difference 65 years had made. However, one thing still remains untouched...the Atomic Dome. A nickname given to a building that was absolute ground zero. That first use of nuclear weapons is forever memorialized. Nothing within the fenced perimeter is ever moved. Only the grass is cut.

This photo was taken in December 2012, as I paid my respects to not just those who died that day but to all who died in all wars.
