Vietnam nurse: "We didn't just take care of physical wounds"!
Grace Moore served in Vietnam in 1968. She was stationed at the 12 Evacuation Hospital in Cu Chi, caring for amputees, orthopedic injuries and POWs.
This video hit me square in the eyes and I just had to share it with all of my Brothers and Sisters, whether you ever went to Vietnam or you were embedded in Vietnam for a long time... It is the story of this Nurse, who represents all of the Nurses who served in country in a very difficult war and duty... That said it is this Nurses story to which I give a huge TRIBUTE to for what they did in Vietnam...
As an aside, I spent 7-months in the Keesler AFB Hospital following an accident where I was run over by a truck at night and left on the side of the road... When they finally got me to the hospital, I could not say enough about the Nursing staff and how they cared for me and all who were hospitalized... My situation can not compare with what conditions this Nurse was in while in a war zone field hospital, but I can feel the anxiety and stress, the tiredness and the emotional turmoil these nurses dealt with on a minute by minute to hours at a time with life and death circumstances...
God Bless and Protect the Unites States Military Nurses deployed around the world!!!

That we do, Brother, and I wanted to make sure that the Nurses received the credit due them for all that they do for our soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and coastguardsmen...

Excellent share Brother Sgt (Join to see) . On Veterans Day when I talk to my students about the role of the military I always mention that it is not just the men in uniform. Many female put on the uniform to serve our country as well. Excellent share.
