I have not seen the movie, but critics from both conservative (e.g. NY Post) and liberal (e.g. Slate) news sites gave it bad reviews. IMHO, the first one was an innovative movie tying in sports and cartoon culture. Not sure about this one which just seems to be about commercialism and recycled plot.
