Sounds like he went AWOL at a time where FT Hood has been dealing with serious missing persons cases that haven’t end well.

I wonder if he has PTSD. People with PTSD can do some odd things in their lives.

Was a fellow recruit in basic from Puerto Rico. Service was a way to citizenship for the family. He stuggled with the unique way the english language could be used. As much as us recruits helped him, he broke down and was processed out.
Hope he is doing good. He was willing to sacrifice.

SGT Charles Whited - I knew a tank platoon SGT who was from S America and had a very accent. I could not understand any of his words.

I talked to a Asian with a heavy accent and pronounced stutter who was next for the OCS board. I did not have confidence he would pass the board. I was right.
