My first experience with a VA shrink....he started crying. "That's so sad. I'm sorry I'm crying but that's really horrible."
I walked out and never went back, going to a civilian instead. Found out later that he's now a girl. With a beard.

I do think it is an individual situation depending on both the therapist and the veteran. The VA is getting better at treating, respecting and scheduling but they are not totally there yet.

I had an epiphany and a CPT Obvious moment. Kill the PTSD symptoms and cross the finish line.
