As a side effect of Covid-19, India was struck by the rare mucormycosis or the Fungi Epidemic. There are at least two known variants of this rare mucormycosis, which are names Black Fungus and White Fungus. A medical specialist claimed a third, the Pink Fungus; however, this claim is unverified. The Black and White fungi affects the eyes, kidneys and the brain in line with Covid-19 that affects throat, lungs and the brain. The second wave was deadly here in India; metropolises were the worst affected.

My goodness I'm agreeing with LTC Charlie Brown. Then again you don't treat a viral infection with antibiotics

They caused this by treating COVID with antibiotics. Wrong thing to do. It destroyed the good bacteria that keep fungal infections at bay
