Looking at 108 or more today. A cold front is 99 degrees. So I'm by the pool in my bikini.

There was also an unusually mild Spring here in NM that was cooler than usual for much longer than usual. So a sudden heat wave without any transition was not too surprising, since the weather pattern was already bonkers. It is a few degrees less brutal here than in the surrounding states, and those directly north including way up north on Montana's western side. Looks like SoCal, NV, and AZ are like ovens and breaking records. This too shall pass . . . hopefully, asap. Of course our question is whether or not this will continue throughout the summer, and if not will it return in August . . .
It looks like the entire nations has been experiencing some type "unprecedented event" in the past month - if not extreme heat, snow in some places, heavy rain from tropical storms, heavy wind, fires . . . it would be a blessing if severe hurricanes and tornadoes spared us this year.
