Unless they have a contract or there is a statutory reason, Texas is an "at will" employment state, meaning that “either party may terminate the employment relationship for any reason or no reason at all” In re Frank Kent Motor Co., 361 S.W.3d 628, 631 (Tex. 2012) and when "the employer notifies an employee of changes in employment terms, the employee must accept the new terms or quit." Hathaway v. General Mills, Inc., 711 S.W.2d 227, 229 (Tex. 1986).

SFC Sczymanski James L. - if the employee quits, they aren't entitled to unemployment compensation. hopefully, the employer will make it a "vaccinate or resign" situation
