IMO there are 2 types of scatter guns, The ones You buy to look at and the ones You take to the bush. I don't own anything to look at. I have 2, a 20 pump and a 12 SA with a pistol grip. Both have had many loads run through them. If I were looking for My 1st scatter gun ever the Stoeger Mentioned in this article would be My 1st look, the Mossberg would be 2nd. Everyone has their own "druthers". If You're in the market, don't run the Gun Store with a "My GrandPappy had a..." attitude. Do some reading first.
