David I have never been to the Academy in CO however, I was at FT Carson for a while and always thought it would be very cool to visit but not really smiled on by the Air Force. Hell, I thought it would be a very cool to visit the Cheyenne Mountain compound but was satisfied with looking from way down below and not being shot a bunch of times and water boarded haha

Agree, the Academy and grounds are beautiful. Every time I go there it still feels special. I’m fortunate to get to work with the incoming class gathering baseline concussion information on each cadet. The cadets are really fun to work with. Then the collegiate sports are bountiful at the Academy; so glad we’re back to no masks and getting ready for football season. Highly recommend visiting each service academy if possible and USAFA won’t let you down.
