LTC (Join to see) During my drive to work in the 1960s, Los Angeles area radio stations offered at least four country music stations. My favorite station’s disk jockey had an alleged friend, “Gumdrop Gus”. The DJ’s name escapes me at the moment, but he did score a few appearances on “Hee Haw”! To my current dismay, I cannot find a country station in today’s LA AO. There are however, numerous AM stations using “other languages” available. (How did I do? Non-discriminatory?)
