Celebrating the Chrysler Building’s Complicated, 90-Year History

On May 27, 1930, the 1,046-foot (319-meter) Chrysler Building in New York City, the tallest man-made structure at the time, opened to the public. A beautiful building although not thought so at the time. From the article:
