I don't see how that makes me disadvantaged, I grew up with a lot of advantages. I was never even exposed to the idea that I might be less than someone who was a different color, or feel someone hated me because I was different. I came from a stable home, finished high school, for most of my life the vast majority of people in authority over me looked like me... If some affirmative action is what it takes to level the playing field, I'm ok with that.

SSG (Join to see) -I'd say the field is pretty level now. Life is what you make of it. Were all of these advantages provided by govt or the hard work of family? The White Privilege campaign, it is a propaganda campaign, is racist in its intent and implementation. More division. How did Allen West, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas, et al make it in this WP world? My story ( no boo hoos) mimics what would be perceived as a family situation most identified with by minority kids. I got above it. Skin had nothing to do with it. My kids will benefit from it but not because of skin.
