Back in the USA - Linda Ronstadt ~ Chuck Berry ~ Keith Richards

On the evening of Thursday October 16, 1986 and early Friday Morning at the 4,500 seat Fox Theater in St. Louis Missouri Chuck Berry held dual concerts for a capacity crowd.

The 1st concert was scheduled to start at 6:45PM but technical problems (related to the accompanying Taylor Hackford filming project “Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll”) delayed the start 45 minutes getting the show underway at 7:30. The 2nd concert originally scheduled for 9:45 didn’t start til after midnight and finally began at 12:30AM (technically Friday October 17th). Exhausted, Chuck Berry bid his farewell 2 hours later.

The concert was repeated a day later on his actual 60th birthday October 18th in New York’s Felt Forum (now “The Theater At Madison Square Garden”).
