Good morning, sir. This is a scary article. Not because it is hard to read, or believe, but because it points a picture of waste. I did not realize that some of the newest warships have some major technical flaws, such as propulsion and armaments, or were having to be in maintenance mode for extended periods. If the balloon goes up in the Taiwan, South China Sea, the Navy is the only force that would be a major factor in carrying the fight to the enemy. This is not a soothing article but definitely one to think about.
