Bottom line up front, if a crowd gathers around my vehicle, hitting, kicking, or breaking stuff on my vehicle, I am going to hit the gas pedal and deal with the consequences later, if that means my tires go over masked anarchists, so much the better. If they are hitting my vehicle with weapons, well, I have a bigger weapon, and I will use it to aid in my escape.

I got caught in a riot many years ago in a 61 Plymouth rag top, Told the guy driving lets get the hell out of here, Luckily we made it out of the parking lot and to safety with no damage. I have watched my surroundings very closely ever since that.

A violent mob is a deadly weapon and the threat of mob violence may be opposed by the use of deadly force. I see nothing wrong with that.
