The challenge to PTSD is it breaks your constitution and your definition as a person changes. The process of healing entails all the king’s men gluing 70% of your pieces back together. They can’t find the 30%. You are not whole and your definition as a person has changed. Some of you will be confused as to the extent of rebuilding the 30%, and some of you will sell yourself short in the healing process. I am adamant that people perform this exercise. Ask who do you want to be. Who are you. How to shrink the delta. I firmly believe this is an imperative.

MAJ Ken Landgren, surely it will help, especially since it is written by a Veteran who understands the pain.

My maker gave me PTSD as a gift. If I help one person it is a wash. If I help two or more people their healing is more important than me. I have no regrets except for the few years that I lost. CPT Gurinder (Gene) Rana
