I see a market for phone passports that will spring up over night, The whole Zee papers and different levels of freedom will work out like a gas tanker and a blow torch. While this Nation has endless herds of sheep it has far more that will respond in ways that are less survivable that the WU Flu.

I remember during the Cold War we as a country as well as the Congress would routinely point out the use of internal passports and identity papers in the Soviet Union to cross the borders of provinces or into areas the state deemed sensitive. Apparently it is OK now for the United States to employ them. I see only one political party whose idealogy has changed so much that this is acceptable to them.

It's a PANDEMIC. It cares nothing for national boundaries. This is not a stupid idea and is something that should be adopted for the next world wide sickness.

It is not a HIPAA violation requiring you to prove you have been vaccinated. You are given a choice to disclose or not disclose.

MAJ Byron Oyler - Yes it is. Requiring a vaccine "passport" violates your right not to disclose.

MSgt (Join to see) - So what are schools and medical jobs doing to get around this 'violation?' At a minimum every job I have taken I have had to prove at a minimum vaccination against Hep A and B.

The place I work for has occupation health which has a doctor and a nurse. They conduct your physical, etc to make sure you are physically fit for the job. That information, to include vaccinations, are protected. They can not discuss your medical history or vaccinations to your employer. All they can say is yes they meet the requirements or no they do not. My employer requires the flu vaccine every year or you have to sign a waver to deny the shot. That information is also protected. My supervisor can NOT ask if I have received the shot or not. They can not take action against me for denying the shot. Nurses in schools review health information because while you or a child is in school they provide initial medical care (which case the Nurse needs to know medical history). That information is also protected. The nurse can NOT disclose your medical information to a teacher or school administrator. Simply put, if it is not tied to your health care, they do not have the right to know anything about your medical history to include vaccinations. So in short, Airlines, Lowes, etc do not need to know any of my medical history to include vaccinations because they are NOT providing me medical care. Mandating a vaccine "passport" violates your rights.
