In most places you cannot perform reproductively as a gender you are not claiming.

For a trans man to be sterilized, he would need a hysterectomy. Which for most trans men that I'm friends with, that's been the standard that they would go for that treatment and continue to live life.
Another fun fact, most trans men don't have a menstrual cycle after being in hrt after a version period of time. Which means sterilization. It's part of the process for many to transition. But there are few who don't want to lose their ability to have children via natal means. I still find it unsettling that it requires select mandatory surgeries before any government will take you seriously.
