Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Happy Monday. It's cool but sunny and the birds are out singing up a storm!
Normal is both in the eye of the beholder and overrated, imo. I see a lot of people struggling to "be normal" whatever that is. Why do that? Why not be the best "you" you can be. Be a "mensch" (ask Capt Jack for the definition), be an example of good, of kindness, of positive leadership and stop worrying about what normal is.

My thoughts as well. I have been criticized growing up for not being "normal" just because I didn't follow the "crowd". I have had an amazing adventurous life because I resisted "normal". In fact, the memoir I am writing for my grandchildren is entitled "The Unexpected Life of a Small Town Boy".

I expect that you are proactive most of the time and that you adapt well to most fluid circumstances. No doubt you care deeply for those you are responsible for as well as those who rely on you for advice. I hope your and my typical day includes praise and thanks to the LORD and demonstrating respect to each person we interact with. ''Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. … and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.' [Romans 13:7-8] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray for an increase of the fruit of the Holy Spirit goodness and gentleness for each and every one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads or listens to this prayer. LORD I thank you for guiding each of us day-by-day and hour-by-hour. Our soul is immaterial and YOU LORD are perfect spirit in every sense. YOU know the challenges we each will be going through and YOU prepare us through sanctification as YOU shape, prune, and mature our soul into the perfect image of the LORD. In these challenging times it is wise to lean on the LORD in all things. 'Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the LORD is.' [Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV]
I lift the grieving, the forlorn, those in dire need of companionship, each with significant pain and disabilities of YOUR adopted sons and daughters to YOU LORD. I pray that YOU pour out an extra measure of hope, love, and endurance for each one. I pray that YOU guide individuals to communicate and listen attentively in person, via phone, messaging, or emails. LORD I pray that YOU guide each of us who are prayers warriors to intercede for all we should. ‘For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter.’ [2 Corinthians 7:10-11 ESV]
I pray for a significant increase in transparency, honest and forthrightness for elected leaders, appointed leaders, confirmed officials, judges and justices, and legislators for local through Federal level and even internationally. For those leaders, justices, officials and legislators who are YOUR adopted sons and daughters and those who are doing their best to be focused on truth and justice for all, I pray YOU bless them with favor as they negotiate what is negotiable and stand fast to principles. 'Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.' [Philippians 4:8-9 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

Good “Monday!” Morning “Burroughs’ Posse from a beautiful Sunny day here in SW Florida..., but boy does this area need some rain! Everything is dried out! However, that is pretty 'normal' for this area, and the rainy season is coming! LOL!

It is: “Normal Day!” Yep! But, what is the new "NORMAL"?

"Normality is a paved road: It’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it." - Vincent Van Gogh

"Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal." - Albert Camus

"To study the abnormal is the best way of understanding the normal." - William James

"But there is no obvious reason for holding that some normal adults are entitled to make choices for other normal adults, as paternalists of both left and right believe." - Tom G. Palmer

"Leadership is lifting a person's vision to high sights, the raising of a person's performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations." - Peter Drucker

“What does normal leadership look like? Normal and effective leadership is about being honest, plain and simple. It is being proactive, deeply caring about people and sharing how they really feel. It is also about creating a safe environment, being adaptable and optimistic, and leadership must always practice clear cut communications.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Great quotes today Sgt (Join to see).., thanks brother and I hope you had a great Monday my friend...

“What does mean to you or what does it look like to you? Normal can be what you make of it. Sometime your normal needs to change or you change it based on new opportunities or existing situations. What in the heck will our normal look like 12 months from now with the current situation in this country? Here’s what happens to my normal (lol)…

‘I tried to act normal, worst 5 minutes of my life.’ — Unknown Author

May you find that normal that works for you, not someone else’s opinion of what normal should be; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Don’t get wrapped around the axle trying to figure out what normal is. It is what you think it is! Lookout normal here we come.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
