Supply chain hack, 3rd party apps with access to Microsoft services all leveraging Amazon's cloud and now Ubiquiti disclosing that they had a major breach back in Dec of 2020 as well.
Curious why this keeps happening? The answer eluded Barack Obama, who tried unsuccessfully to reset relations with Putin. The person who was picked to lead this doomed mission was the then secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, herself a Russian hacking victim in 2016. Then Trump comes and goes all the while encouraging hackers to steal emails. Now its Joe's turn to blunder into the realm of cyber security and being that he's picking a bunch of Obama era people to secure our virtual "border" I don't really expect things to change.
Decades of poor leadership in understanding and addressing cyber security - we are playing checkers while others are playing chess.
