I get a bad link. I don't think the Sherman compared to most things the Germans had is a fair comparison. the Pershing for its limited exposure did okay. It took what 4:1 -5:1 Sherman's to German tanks. That isn't a good ratio in anyone's book. Air cooled airplane engines were also not the way to go with those IMHO, just not enough air flow to keep those things cooled.
