I suspect there is more to it than that, but I haven't been able to access and read the bill yet. DV is an issue near and dear to my heart so I am not happy about this.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I was about to say it had something to do with firearms which I am all for but SGM Erik Marquez gave reference to an article. I love my 2nd Amendment rights and I despise those who perpetrate violence against women and others for that matter. Both sides of the House do this, stick something in a bill that has nothing to do with the title of the bill. The latest Covid relief package is a prime example.
