What is so hard for politicians to understand that criminals do not obey any laws they don’t like? Only law abiding citizens are being punished.

I have always and WILL always oppose "Red Flag Laws" as unconstitutional and a gross violation of civil rights. A person's Constitutional rights can be taken away without due process on nothing more than some one else's (usually an anti-gun person) allegation of a perceived threat.

That's another reason to heed my grandaddy's advice: never get on a list

His reason was because of the inhuman treatment of First Nation people. His people were Kiowa and Cherokee. He came from those who survived the Trail of Tears.

We never held a tribal affiliation for fear of government retaliation, not to mention plain old racism.

That list is never going to happen. Even if it was sworn to be kept private, hackers gonna hack.

I think Biden spent enough time with Obama to know the fastest way to a scorched earth nation is with a direct attack on gun owners. It's already SOP to leave any guns alone if a SM or veteran has a "wellness check" or mental health crisis. Those in charge learned quickly that if threatened with removal of firearms SM's and veterans had a tremendous spike in violent reactions

Unless you're a direct, immediate threat, the rule is to leave the subject off the table
Completely.
