Okay, so I've posted two videos about Comets this morning and now during this noon-hour, I bring you one more video, which is a little lighter on the cataclysmic scale... In fact it is more of a pure science objective and took place in 2014... SciShow Space News gives you the update of the historic mission that has, for the first time ever, landed a spacecraft on the surface of a comet!
I think you will find this video extremely interesting and even though the Comet is only 3 Kilometers wide, it was big enough to land on... How this mission was accomplished was through the mission called "Rosetta"... Should we have to repeat this mission from stopping a critically large Comet headed for Earth's surface, we could do it and take steps to alter its course... This would be a most important mission for the survival of all living species on our Planet...
