I've been sleeping just fine inasmuch as I have avoided all anxiety associated with the COVID scare. While others may toss and turn with fear induced by government ineptitude in handling the "crisis" and their publication of statistical horror stories, I look at the raw data and take comfort in the knowledge that my chances of contracting the COVID virus are about the same as being killed in an auto accident. Certainly, given my age and the malaria lurking in my liver, COVID would likely be fatal, I don't lie awake worrying over those either...

I'm with you. I wasn't overly concerned and still not. My kids are all concerned on our behalf so we have started the vaccines.

I agree. I try not to stress or worry because it doesn't add any quality to my life. I can thank God for the overall placidity of my life.

All of the above. This has been an issues for years for me- nothing has ever really helped. A type personality and when I wake up my mind doesn't stop. COVID has little to do with it for me. Pending retirement may change the stressors. Will check back in a few months

Sad to read sir. I hope whatever the stressor are in your life will be remediated. I know you are a child of God so perhaps turning to Him could help.

SSG Samuel Kermon - thank you brother. I think most of my stress comes from wanting to do a good job and never being able to say no. I have stepped off few boards I served on and focused community projects to those I really care about. Life is still very good and I always count my blessings.

For just myself, it took quit a few years after retirement for me to settle down enough to sleep threw the night, I had always been the guy to go to bed around midnight and then be up at 0400 in order to get everything ready before everyone else got up. I carryed this over to my Civilian company's as well. Good luck to you Maj Mary Hogan.

PO1 Steve Ditto I always focus on unfinished projects and to do stuff. Methodically calculating what's next and best courses of action. Possible scenarios etc.
