Governor Noem: “We just consistently focused on what we knew about the virus, the science of it, the fact that our kids needed to be in school to learn. When kids weren't in school, we saw that they were only achieving about 70 percent of normal In reading, only about 50 percent of normal in math. That that was going to be detrimental to them long-term. *And their risk to the virus was much lower than it would be for older individuals who had health conditions.*

This isn't about science. The media and the political folks are pushing an agenda. Here in FFX, the county has vaccinated teachers, moving them ahead of others in the line, only to have them continue to refuse to go back into the classrooms. All who accepted the vaccine and now refuse should be fired.

I agree. I have friends and acquintences who are educators that cannot return to the classroom because of thier unions insistance. They should first of all not get paid, and terminated for refusing to return to work

I have not trusted government sponsored education since the late 70s - when I graduated HS. Our kids were a mix of home schooling (formative years) and public schools (HS, mainly for the extras like sports and academic clubs). I really like the idea of pods that have sprouted up over the last few years! Conservatives NEED to take responsibility for their kid's education! This will create a conservative generation with strength of thought.
