Seven purple hearts. Seven!?!?!
Look, I was truly dedicated to serving my country. There and back again a whole BUNCH of times. But I think after the second purple heart I would have started to question my line of work. After the third or fourth, I would have have been ready to hang it up. And after five, well.... either I would have done quit the Army or my wife would have killed me.
Either way, I wasn't gon' be 'round to get no sixth medal.
