After the last ‘graduation parade’ I attended at MCRD, a DI told me they were not allowed to tailor their blouses. Has something changed?

SSG Robert Mark Odom These young women have challenges and adventures to look forward to on the journey to becoming Marines. MCRD San Diego is a lovely base with great weather.

I'll withhold judgement until I see them complete the mountain humps on Camp Pendleton during their Crucible. In 85 we called it RFTD and we didn't have PC names for those mountains.

Now they are pleasant memories, at the time they were anything but. I remember telling on of the other recruits that one day we will call this, "The good old days." He about spit up the water he was drinking at the time!
