This is an outstanding Report, Lt Col Charlie Brown!!! It gives us hope that we have turned the corner on this VIrus Pandemic and can now see a modicum of daylight in an otherwise bleak political climate...

Lt Col Charlie Brown thanks for asking. We went 34 hours without power. But for me this was a blessing. Our gas fireplace kept the living too in the mid 60s and we had hot water. I was able to share that with my daughter, son in law, and grandson. Knowing they were safe was a blessing to me.

I have friends in the dallas area and offered some shelter when their power died. I had power and hot water, but they weathered the storm in their homes.

Cpl (Join to see) - You know, there have been several occasions during my military career I'd have killed for conditions as good as I had it during the "emergency" so I felt very fortunate for those experiences. Those experiences put this ordeal into perspective so I wasn't losing my mind like a lot of people who weren't as resilient. Even my son in law was feeling stressed to the point he had a headache and he served a deployment to Afghanistan. Once things went into perspective for him, his headache went away.
