Thank you for the WWII history share brother SSG Robert Mark Odom

I don’t mean to steal the thread. I know of a young black 2LT who was awarded the Medal Of Honor I think in France. He was with a small team of forward observers and he was calling in artillery on German forces maneuvering in his direction. He was adjusting fire as the Germans closed in on his position. He was being overrun and he gave his final fire mission to which the artillery men responded are you sure because that your location. The young 2LT said fire! When the battle ended his unit went to his location and I believe they found 100 dead German soldiers. I felt compelled to illuminate the bravery of such a fine young 2LT. Once again I apologize about my irrelevant rant.
