It's true. Often times this population is either overlooked or seen as somehow less essential than the rest of us...

They every bit do this in socialized healthcare care. From a fiscal standpoint, I can understand why but from a healthcare provider standpoint find it unethical. The real reality for pretty much all of us, when you get sick enough to code, enough is wrong that a meaningful life after is unlikely. What makes the biggest difference is agressive care before they get to that point and if society is preventing that, that is horrible.

MAJ Byron Oyler Absolutely sir. I remember as a young emt we responded to a man and treated him. Afterwords my chief told us, "I didn't want to say before but he's a convicted pedophile would that have changed your treatment?" Absolutely not. It is not my job as a medical professional to judge patients and what they have done. It is my job to treat every patient to the best of my abilities and with respect, dignity and compassion regardless of who they are.

If they can kill millions of babies in the womb, why not expand on the genocide. Seems familiar to something that happened during WWII.

Very sad. Brought to mind the guy that Clinton executed while Gov. of AR. He was mentally challenged, and ordered pecan pie for dessert in last meal. They asked if he was going to eat it. He replied something like I'll have it when I get back. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricky_Ray_Rector
