It takes great coordination and skill to load and unload these C5 Birds...especially when it involves good sized aircraft...or anything large for that matter...

Great share, I've got a few hours in the back end passenger section under my belt.

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D.
I made one cross-country flight as a passenger. I've also loaded two tanks on a C-5A in Louisville and my M113A1 when I was a Cav platoon leader onto a C-130 from Ft. Campbell to Ft. Knox. My crew and I rode with our M113A1 and the pilot invited me into the cockpit. He let his copilot land at Knox and saw something he didn't like and grabbed the yoke and pulled up sharply. I looked back into the cargo bay and watched in awe as the torsion bars bowed into a U-shape! The pilot chewed out the copilot for trying to set us down past the midfield point with a heavy load. . . .

Outstanding share,, I know for a fact that the men and women of the U.S. Air Force will figure it out, they always have.
