They came rename them all if they want. I don't care if it becomes Army Base #128, it will always be BRAGG. You can try and make cosmetic changes for PC purposes and to virtue signal, but it remain BRAGG!!

I agree. Way too late to change it for the 10000’s who have known them for what we’ve called them. But I’ll respect those who feel bothered by the history behind the names. But people will always call them Bragg Benning etc.

It is the same old liberal crap. Leave the names alone. Why are being forced to bow to a few liberal idiots just to please them? Where will it stop? These morons wont stop until all controversal named citys are changed. Leave history alone. I'm not from the south and could care less if someone displays the Stars and bars. History happened, dont try to change it. Lwave it alone.

Naming Ft Bragg after a traitor was done for political reasons. Northern state's and Washington DC leadership needed southern backing for Spanish American War, and WW1. This backing should have been provided without naming bases after traitor's. Part of the divide in this nation to this day is because some in south and white supremacists insist on displaying Confederate Battle Flag. According to surrender Gen Lee signed, this was never supposed to happen again. Former Confederate state's also included it in their state flags after Civil War, which also violated surrender. Allowing names to remain violates surrender documents, and justifies irrational beliefs that tore this nation apart. Now over 170 years nlater justifies in the mind of some the beliefs that stated a Civil War and almost destroyed the US. No more recognition of traitor's or Confederate Battle Flag on military bases is essential to change over 170 years of continued hate and harrasment of people of color.
