COL Mikel J. Burroughs Lt Col Charlie Brown Maj Marty Hogan - An interesting one for me was being in Wiesbaden and going to the Abrams Complex as it was being shut-down in '92-'93 and watching History come to a close. Now we are moving further East into Poland, past our old stomping grounds of Check-point Charlie... Pretty neat to watch history in the making. Late news, just thought I'd share as I happened upon!

That is awesome, my wife got to go through CheckPoint Charlie back in 1978 in the West Berlin and actually traveled into East Berlin for a ittle shopping. I never got too, because of my security Clearance SGT Jim Ramge, MBA

Totally understand that one... Like going to the DMZ and being spied upon these days from the 2nd floor with Bino's. Wasn't an easy feeling being an MI guy, but, comes with the territory I guess - LOL. Although the 12 minutes which we had to kiss our asses goodbye back then made you enjoy those glasses of bourbon that much more!
